About us

ECHELON VOICES is a vocal ensemble formed by Linard Vrielink, Andrés Moreno García, Jaka Mihelač, Adam Kutny, and Erik Rosenius—five emerging voices on the international opera scene. Their artistic journey began at the Opera Studio of the State Opera of Berlin, where they gained extensive stage experience, performing alongside established opera artists.

Beyond their operatic training, the singers share a strong background in choral and ensemble singing, which led to the creation of ECHELON VOICES. The ensemble is dedicated to bridging the worlds of opera and choral music, exploring both traditional and contemporary repertoire while presenting ensemble singing in a fresh and modern way.

A defining feature of ECHELON VOICES is their ability to combine operatic vocal technique with choral precision and blend. Their performances range from moments of great intimacy and expressive nuance to powerful climaxes that fill concert halls with resonant sound, allowing the ensemble to explore a wide spectrum of musical styles.

In May 2023, ECHELON VOICES released their debut album, Moments of Vision, featuring music by Linard Vrielink, in collaboration with Decurio Record Label. The ensemble has appeared at international festivals, including the Stangvik Festival in Norway, and has recorded a CD in London with VOCES8.

Alongside their ensemble work, the members of ECHELON VOICES pursue solo careers at some of the world’s leading opera houses and festivals, including the State Opera of Berlin, Dutch National Opera Amsterdam, Polish National Opera, Opera Ljubljana, the Royal Swedish Opera, and Glyndebourne. At the same time, they remain committed to ECHELON VOICES, performing concerts and working on recordings across Europe, including Germany, Norway, and Slovenia.
